About Me

I'm GomezGani — a data scientist and systems builder from Mzuzu, Malawi, currently studying BSc Data Science at Mzuzu University.

I build things that matter. My work sits at the intersection of machine learning, automation, and the real problems facing people in Malawi and across Sub-Saharan Africa — from helping smallholder farmers forecast crop yields, to building credit scoring systems for people who've never held a bank account.

I don't just study data science. I ship systems end-to-end: from raw data ingestion and model training to API deployment and production-ready dashboards. I have a deep interest in the MLOps side of things — making models actually useful in the real world, not just accurate on a notebook.

My work also spans full-stack development, blockchain, and security — because the problems I care about require combining disciplines, not staying in one lane.

I'm looking for opportunities to work on meaningful, technically demanding problems at a global scale — while continuing to build tools that create tangible value in my community.
